Indore Metro expands to 16 stations: Yellow Line now runs to Radisson Square

Indore Metro has taken a major leap. The Yellow Line's operational network has grown from the original 6 km Super Priority Corridor to roughly 17 km, with the new 11 km Priority Corridor-2 extension opening to the public on 6 September 2026.

There are now 16 operational stations: the Super Corridor stations (Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Terminal, Maharani Lakshmi Bai, Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi, Rani Durgavati and Veerangana Jhalkari Bai), followed by Super Corridor 2, Super Corridor 1, Bhawarshala Square, MR 10 Road, ISBT/MR 10 Flyover, Chandragupta Square, Hira Nagar, Bapat Square, Meghdoot Garden, Vijay Nagar Square and Radisson Square.

The extension brings the metro into some of Indore's busiest commercial and residential areas — Vijay Nagar, Radisson Square and the ISBT interchange — making cross-city travel far quicker. Trains run at roughly 15-minute intervals, with digital QR tickets and smart cards accepted at every station.
